33rd Annual Run to the Sun Car and Truck Show

Registration is ONLINE for the 2022 show. This show has sold out the past 10 years so starting this year only a limited number of on-site registrations will be available. Only cars and trucks 1989 and older can be registered, entry will be strictly enforced. PLEASE PRE-REGISTER ONLINE to assure entry for your car or truck.

Spectator parking

City Transit buses will provide Shuttle Service Thursday, March 17, Friday, March 18, and Saturday, March 19 from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm from the designated areas highlighted below. 


There will be signs located in the Broadway at the Beach, 1325 Celebrity Circle, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577

Trailer Parking

Waccamaw Pottery will have truck and trailer parking.
Truck And trailer parking in the designated area only, on the back side of the Mall in a lighted lot with overnight security on site.  Rates vary by size and paid directly to lot owner.

Handicapped Access

Handicapped parking is available at the southeast corner of the event site off N Kings Highway and Myrtle Place.  Scooter rentals can be reserved in advance or rented on site from the below vendors adjacent to the handicapped parking.  Personal scooters for one person are permitted, however, multi-person scooters or golf carts are not permitted inside the event.

Additional Information and Event Rules

  • Spectator wristbands can be purchased online through Eventbrite up to and including the day of the event.  Spectator tickets are refundable up to March 16th, Participant passes are refundable up to February 16th.  Eventbrite fees are non-refundable.
  • Vehicle owners are not permitted to save spaces, limited exceptions will be permitted up to 10am on Thursday only with pre-arranged areas for clubs.  Please be courteous to your fellow classic car enthusiasts.
  • Vehicle must match window card (year, make and model) vehicles entered 1990 or after will be asked to leave without refund. Changes to registered vehicles can be made at packet pickup.
  • Pets are not permitted with the exception of documented support animals.
  • Personal scooters for one person are permitted, however, multi-person scooters or golf carts are not permitted inside the event.
  • Visitors without a wrist band will be asked to purchase one at the gate or asked to leave.
  • No firearms, alcohol or drugs permitted on event grounds.
