CHARITIES WE SUPPORT
Every year, a portion of the proceeds from The Run to the Sun Car and Truck Show is donated to deserving charities. Our charity support is generated through the silent auction, the 50/50 raffle and income from event ticket sales. The tradition of giving will continue as the event continues to grow and support not only our car community but the community at large and those in need.
The 36th Annual Run to the Sun Car and Truck Show will once again partner with The National MS Society to host a charity silent auction. Come by the auction tent in front of the main stage to bid on many popular items, your purchase is tax deductible. Check out the link below to bid on your favorite items, more to be added closer to the event. The link will become active 30 days prior to the event.

There is also a 50/50 raffle hosted by the McLeod Children's Hospital. 50% of the proceeds support the McLeod Children's Hospital in Florence, SC and 5 lucky winners will win up to $2,500 each. Buy your tickets at the event, look for the raffle ticket signs and the friendly volunteers.
The 35th Annual Run to the Sun Car and Truck show also supports The Horry County Sheriff's Department Benevolent Fund, Grand Strand Miracle League, Florence Miracle League, Carolina Forest HS NJROTC Booster Club, The Boys and Girls Club of Grand Strand, and The American Cancer Society.

35th Annual Run to the Sun Car and Truck Show Charity Banquet
We were pleased to host our annual charity banquet on April 30th in Florence to present deserving local charities with our support from the 35th Annual Run to the Sun Car and Truck Show. We appreciate all the support of our participants, spectators, sponsors, vendors and the City of Myrtle Beach in order to make all of this possible. We were able to donate $42,000 this year, $125,000 over the past 3 years. Run to the Sun Car and Truck Show has been able to donate more than 2.3 million dollars over the past 35 years thanks to the vision, dedication and leadership of the Pee Dee Street Rodders and event staff.
