Celebrity Appearances for 2027
Dennis Gage

This year we look forward to welcoming Dennis Gage to Run to the Sun. Dennis is the host of My Classic Car originally on TNN and now in its 30th season on Velocity, it’s the longest running show of its kind. It is carried on Discovery Turbo, Racer, and Rev’n networks, reaching over 100 million households in the US and many times that worldwide via its YouTube channel and other streaming platforms. In addition, Dennis is the Executive Producer of the motorcycle television series, Trippin’ on Two Wheels and Corbin’s Ride On, and the reality series, Texas Hardtails, as well as the independent film, Novem.
Dennis grew up on a small family farm and was tinkering with cars and motorcycles at an early age. He focused on chemistry and physics in college but took a couple years off after graduating and toured with bands before going to grad school and getting a Ph.D. in chemistry. After 15 years in corporate R&D, he fell into TV, and that’s where he’d been ever since.
Dennis and his business partner received the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award for Indiana in 2000. He received the Lee Iacocca Award in 2014 and was inducted into the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Hall of Fame in 2015. Dennis has served on the SEMA Board of Directors, as well as a number of academic and industry advisory boards.
Dennis appears at many classic car shows and events throughout the country and we are looking forward to welcoming Dennis at the 38th Annual Run to the Sun Car and Truck Show. With his lifelong love of cars, motorcycles and the creative process, he states, “This has got to be the ultimate gig!”
