Lou Santiago
Lou Santiago will be joining us at the 2026 Run to the Sun Car and Truck Show in Myrtle Beach. Lou is best known for his role as Host of Spike TV’s MuscleCar. He spent many hours of blood, sweat and tears in front of the camera showing the viewers the "How To's" of car building. For 44 episodes he chronicled a multitude of car builds and entertained viewers with his charismatic personality. Lou has traveled the world and worked on and built just about everything in between, from Muscle Cars to Earth Movers. Later, Lou joined the Discovery Channel as a host for ten episodes of Ultimate Car Build-Off.
Lou Santiago’s appearance is sponsored by Auto Metal Direct located in the celebrity area. Come visit, say hello and get your photo with Lou.
Ghostbusters ECTO-1 and Southern Belle Ghostbusters
When the movie "Ghostbusters" premiered in 1984, it became the highest-grossing film of the year. The iconic Caddy, known as ECTO-1 or the Ectomobile, was loaded with all manner of spirit-hunting equipment and sported the now-famous "no ghosts" emblem on each front door. One of the finest examples of an ECTO-1 tribute car belongs to Barrie J. Clark of Fort Mill, South Carolina. Clark and his team spent more than 3,500 hours restoring a 1974 Cadillac Miller-Meteor hearse and outfitting it with a monstrously large 472ci 7.7L V-8 (for those urgent exorcisms). Clark's ECTO-1, is fully equipped with a custom ectoplasm containment system, ecto goggles, and loudspeakers that play the otherworldly warning siren from the first movie. The roof rack is stacked high with wraith-wrangling apparatus, most of which was handmade by Clark.

The Southern Belle Ghostbusters, founded in 2016, are an official Ghost Corps franchise based in Charlotte NC, and initially based on recreating the characters and atmosphere from the fourth film in the Ghostbusters franchise. With over 20 members from all over the country, we enjoy attending and supporting community events, film premieres, car shows and parades, and charity fundraisers. They Are Ready to Answer the Call and greet you at the Run to the Sun Car and Truck Show in March!
